”Closer to China with R.L.Kuhn” is a weekly, China-related current affairs show on China Global Television Network (CGTN) (formerly CCTV News) that brings the rich, complex story of China to the world through candid, intimate discussions with China’s thought leaders and decision makers in all sectors.
Closer to China with R.L.Kuhn, produced by Adam Zhu, deals with the substantive, sophisticated and sensitive issues that China faces in domestic events/polices and foreign affairs/diplomacy. We cover China’s critical areas: politics, government, governance, economics, business, finance, society, law, diplomacy, defense, science, etc.
Closer to China with R.L.Kuhn tackles the tough topics; we embrace debate and are unafraid of controversy. We believe that the fascinating, multifaceted truth about China is enriched by honesty, hard thinking, transparency and open access to ideas and information. We engage China’s thought leaders and decision makers, asking the hard, specific questions that the world wants to know about.
